The staff were so helpful in assisting arranging our post New-Year office party here. Food was fantastic and staff were so friendly and helpful. We had ordered far too many bottles of wine so staff allowed us to give them back and put the money behind the bar - Fantastic!

We held our 5 year anniversary of our Yoga Studio (studio42.co.uk) at the Jazz Cafe. Food was great. We had a live band (lisalisaband) who were terrific with support from local DJ to keep the music going. Our group was mixed age group, ranging from 10 to 80, everyone boogied on down. Excellent night - we will do it again!

We would like to thank "The JazzCafe" for making our daughter Isha's first birthday party so special. JazzCafe is beautifully devorated, specious venue with very polite, helpful and friendly staff and admin. Our event went very smoothly with outstanding food, soothing music and great atmosphere. Fantastic New Year's Eve party! Lovely warm welcome on arrival and throughout the evening the staff were helpful and friendly. The band was very good and we danced and danced... Lovely atmosphere and everyone seemed to be out to enjoy the evening. All in all it was a great place to see 2014 in. Many thanks!

it was our first time...6 of us...and im sure it will not be our last....the band were great, the atmosphere in the place was so relaxed...not one of us have a bad word to say about the night....a really enjoyable evening was had by all.

We arrived on New Years Eve excited and looking forward to an evening of fun, food, dance and laughter. What disappointment we had with the food. The music and dancing was brilliant but the food left much to be desired. I travelled all the way from Maidstone in Kent to spend New Years Eve celebrating with my sister and family and was so disappointed with the food. May I suggest that when one is spending £55 per person and my sister booked for 10 people that the website clearly states the food that is going to be available. Had we known we would have paid entry of £30 and gone out for a lovely meal before hand. How disappointed I feel to have to complain as otherwise this was a brilliant evening.

Absolutely fantastic night! Food was excellent,not to much but not too little. We had a groupon deal but fit a lot for our money. Drinks a little pricey but the staff were very welcoming,good table service and for someone who doesn't like bands I had an amazing time,band were very good,interacted with the guests, doorman wonderfully friendly and even managed to catch him having a jig to the jazz band playing. Over all a fabulous experience and will Definitly we going back. Thank you.

Dear Sally - I just wanted to say a big thank you for the marvellous table you organised for us last night!! We had an amazing view! The whole night was excellent - every body had a great time. Hi Sally, Thank you, and all of your team for a great night last Friday (Tony James Breakfast Club Night.) The food was excellent and you had obviously made a special effort to look after Ann one of the guests and found her some gluten free bread, which was very much appreciated. A great night was had by all!

I wish to say a great big thank you to all the team that worked on Saturday 25th July. I had my Hen do that night and my bridesmaid arranged for 7 of us to have a meal and dance at the Jazz Cafe after our pampering session in the Spa during the day. The food was amazing and they staff were very patient with the requests re food alterations that were made on the night. The band were fantastic and we danced all night. All in all we had a great night and thank you for making the night so memorable.

Hello Sally Just a quick e-mail to say thank you for such a fabulous night on Saturday. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and danced all night!! All our guests couldn't stop praising the venue, food and live entertainment. Brilliant night and a 50th Birthday Party I will never forget. A personal thank you to you for keeping everything secret - I have been told all about my husbands/daughters visits and phone calls (some times just after I had been on the phone to you!). The table mats were brilliant - such a shock.

Great band and great atmosphere

Hi Sally. I felt I just had to send you just one more email. I want to thank you for all your help in organising Emma's Hen Party and making it such a special evening for her. We had an absolutely fantastic time. Everybody (Jazz Cafe staff) was very friendly and helpful. The Black Hat Band were brilliant. Thanks too to the chef for providing us with lovely food, I didn't hear one complaint, only praise. I would certainly recommend the Jazz Cafe to anyone who was looking for a venue for a special occasion.

All your staff were exceptionally helpful and welcoming especially Sally on reservations, Sue who coped efficiently with last minute changes on arrival. This was my 2nd visit and I have no doubt I will be back.

I just wanted to write and say thank you very much for all the hard work that yourself and the other staff members of The Jazz Café put into the evening for the Arcum Christmas on Thursday, 18th December. Hi, I came to the club with 11 friends for my 40th birthday. The band were fantastic, the food was brilliant & everyone who came said what an amazing time they had. We danced all night & thought the atmosphere was great. We are all looking forward to coming again very soon. Thanks to all the staff for being so friendly & helpful. BRILLIANT !!!

We spent last Saturday evening at The Jazz Café in Reading with a party of friends for my 50th. What a brilliant evening! Great organisation and help in advance from the staff in fitting us into an already almost full club – nothing seemed too much trouble. Very delicious food on the evening, great atmosphere and the band had everyone dancing for most of the evening. Thank you so much for all the trouble you took to give us such a special evening.

A lot of people feel that you should update the images on your website, as they really do not reflect how good the venue actually is! So once again, thank you very much. We all had a great time!

Food, bar and service all excellent. However band that took the place of advertised band were not very good. We could not hear either singer above the the music and left at midnight because of this.

Just to say we had a great evening on Friday. A number of our friends had not been tbefore and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. A lot of comments were made about the staff and how excellent they were. Once again we had another enjoyable evening at the Jazz Cafe and will hopefully be back soon.

We had a great night by the way! The food was really good - we enjoyed the table service buffet and were surprised how much there was of it - you were so well staffed behind the bar that it was almost a pleasure going to get drinks!! The band were brilliant and the other guests were up for the same fun, great night we were.

I would just like to say i held my 50th birthday party for 90 guest at the jazz cafe on saturday 10th july 2010. And what a fantastic night was had by all, the venue was lovely, everyone commented on how nice the food was, and the band was really great, then the disco played on untill 2.00am. I would highly recommend anyone with a special occasion that they wish to celebrate to book it at the jazzcafe
