What the customers said in 2008... We are still taking about our amazing evening celebrating my Partner's 40th on Friday. What a night! The atmosphere,food,& live music were excellent & the DJ played the sweetest tunes from 'way back'. I booked this for 12 people only a week before the event!! & Sally could not have been more helpful. Thank you from the meet & greet guy on the door to all the staff for their hard work! The event ran extremely smoothly and all my guests had a super evening. Please pass on my compliments to the chef, rave reviews from all my guests on the standard of the food. Everything was well organised for us and our guests - from individual menu choices to table plans so we could just get on with enjoying the evening. The staff looked after us: the food and entertainment was very good. Caroline Smith - Saturday 12th January 2008 I am booking to come again on 10th May as when we last came for our Christmas party the food and service were great. Very friendly staff who were attentive but not intrusive and despite it being a Christmas event you had not crowded as many people as you could get into the room - there was still enough space to feel comfortable. In our 2 groups - Whitewater Garden Nursery and the Dental Surgery we had an age range of 24 to 70 with a few members of staff in each decade. With no exception everyone had a fantastic time. Julie Nixon - Christmas Party 2008 Thanks for a fab evening at the Jazz Cafe for my Hen Night. We had ladies in their 20s, 30s, 40s and 50s and a great time was had by all. The food was lovely and the band and DJ were brilliant - we danced all night long! The service was excellent - we were very well looked after by all of the staff. We would highly recommend this venue for an evening to remember! Gail Withers - Saturday 29th March Having taken a small group to The Jazz Cafe' in January 2008 I booked the venue to celebrate mine & my son's BIG Birthdays! Anne, Dave & Sally made sure that the finger buffet,seating arrangements and decorations ran smoothly,together with the choice of music and drinks on arrival! About 80 or so guests enjoyed an amazing night and DJ Harry catered for the music tastes of us all! I cannot praise the staff highly enough, nothing was too much trouble & the food was delicious! Thank you all sooooo much.........it almost made me happy to be 50 and my son was obviously delighted to be 18!!! Now I wonder where to have our Wedding Party??? The food and service was superb and the band Cover Up were sensational. We were all so impressed by the efficent and friendly staff and the food was to die for. We will all definitely come again. We spent a brilliant Friday evening celebrating Hazels birthday - the service was first class and the food superb (compliments to the chef). The place has a unique atmosphere. Thank you for all your organisation the tables were set out lovely and it all worked so well with the menu choices and seating plan. The food was amazing! which everyone commented on, so compliments to the Chef. Can you also thank Sue, the lady who looked after us on the night. Also Eric on the door, who was a star, very friedly and kept us entertained, a top man for the Jazz Cafe to have front of house! My phone has not stopped with people in our group calling to say how much they enjoyed it.Our group was 34 in total and there has not been any negative comments.
