Having taken a small group to The Jazz Cafe' in January 2008 I booked the venue to celebrate mine & my son's BIG Birthdays!
Anne, Dave & Sally made sure that the finger buffet,seating arrangements and decorations ran smoothly,together with the choice of music and drinks on arrival!
About 80 or so guests enjoyed an amazing night and DJ
Harry catered for the music tastes of us all!
I cannot praise the staff highly enough, nothing was too much trouble & the food was delicious!
Thank you all sooooo much.........it almost made me happy to be 50 and my son was obviously delighted to be 18!!!
Now I wonder where to have our Wedding

Thanks for a fab evening at the Jazz Cafe for my Hen Night. We had ladies in their 20s, 30s, 40s and 50s and a great time was had by all. The food was lovely and the band and DJ were brilliant - we danced all night long! The service was excellent - we were very well looked after by all of the staff. We would highly recommend this venue for an evening to remember!

I am booking to come again on 10th May as when we last came for our Christmas party the food and service were great. Very friendly staff who were attentive but not intrusive and despite it being a Christmas event you had not crowded as many people as you could get into the room - there was still enough space to feel comfortable. In our 2 groups - Whitewater Garden Nursery and the Dental Surgery we had an age range of 24 to 70 with a few members of staff in each decade. With no exception everyone had a fantastic time.

Just a quick note to say thanks. The party went well on Saturday, everyone enjoyed it. Everything was well organised for us and our guests - from individual menu choices to table plans so we could just get on with enjoying the evening. The staff looked after us: the food and entertainment was very good. I think some of our friends will be coming back to the club on an individual basis

I had my 40th Birthday bash at the Jazz on Saturday 3rd November and felt I really had to email you guys to let you know what a fantastic time we all had. Sally from the beginning was very helpful, informative and very friendly to me when I first booked, also Tony on the door was also fantastic host and made us feel very welcome and made sure we had a good night, and then there was Chris behind the bar who was also very helpful, all I can say is you have got a great team and without them I'm not quite sure the night would have been as successful as it was.

My husband and I came to the Jazz Café on Saturday.
We were very impressed by being met at the door and taken upstairs to be greeted at the bar by a very attentive bar man. We were then greeted by our waitress who was so efficient and professional. We also ha d another waitress(a Scottish girl who chatted to us as my hubby is Scottish) We had a lovely seat next to the stage and the group were superb. The mail was lovely, my only complaint if any would be there was no goats cheese left, but hey the evening by far outweighed that. It seems in this day and age people are quick enough to complain but not to go to the effort of saying when they have received excellent service.
Your staff are a credit to you and seemed thoroughly happy in their work.

I took my husband to the Jazz Cafe as a birthday surprize and did not regret my choice of venue for such a special event. I would like to praise this establishment for the outstanding customer service we have received. Firstly, a big "thank you" to Sally through whom I made my restaurant booking and who made me feel welcomed and treasured as a customer. Secondly, I would like to commend our waiter for the evening - Adam, for his exceptional service. Also the staff on the door were very friendly and caring. Well done to all of you! We enjoyed the whole evening and especially the music of Groovin High whose music was a pleasure to listen to. Great evening! Overall - 10 out of 10!

All 23 of us had a great night, and the chocolate birthday cake, strawberries and bubbly were a lovely touch - helping to make the night very memorable. Catering for one vegetarian on the night was was also much appreciated.

Saw Adesuwa on 02/02/07 and they were fantastic. I regularly go to the Jazz Cafe and this is one of the best bands that I have ever seen at the jazz cafe, in fact probably the best.
I am hoping that you will schedule them again at the jazz cafe and would advise that they are play on Saturday nights as they deserve a big audience.

I just felt I had to drop you a line to say thank-you for a fantastic evening yesterday.
It was my first visit to the Jazz Cafe and most certainly will not be my last.
The staff were polite and friendly, the atmosphere lively, food lovely, the band superb and the overall ambiance sophisticated with a good balance between live music and the ability to socialise with friends.
An excellent venue for cosy dinners for two, who appreciate good music or for larger company events.
It made a real change to go somewhere with a bit of class and where they obviously know how to treat their customers.Keep up the good work guys and I will see you again very soon.
